Opus Prize
The Opus Prize is an international award for faith-based humanitarian aid given by the Opus Prize Foundation in the USA. Since 2004, one award winner has received US $ 1 million annually, and since 2005 two finalists have also received US $ 100,000 each.
The prize is intended to honor silent heroes of all faiths who, through a combination of entrepreneurial thinking and good faith, find solutions to major social problems such as poverty, illiteracy, hunger, disease and injustice .
The prize is awarded by the Opus Prize Foundation . It was founded as a non-profit and independent foundation in 1994 by the founder of Opus Corporation in the USA.
