Richard Albert

Richard Albert (* 26. July 1983 in Duisburg as a Richard Bretschneider Albert ) is a German film composer and songwriter .

Life and music

Richard Albert is a self-taught musician and studied communication and computer science at RWTH Aachen University from 2004 to 2010 . In 2007 he composed his first film music for the short film Sachliche Romance . After several years in which he mainly wrote the music for commercials and short films, he started the web series Hell's Kitty in 2012 to compose music for various production companies in the USA. Since then Albert has been working mainly on American productions, but still lives in Wuppertal . His stylistic devices include enriching orchestral sounds with noises from everyday life, such as B. in Piece for Piano and Fridge or the piece Schwebebahn Apocalypse , in which he mixed strings with the sounds of the Wuppertal suspension railway .
