Order of the Belt of Hope

The Order of the Belt of Hope was a French knightly order . It was donated by Charles VI in 1389 . He got lost on a hunt and donated this award out of gratitude in honor of "Our dear women" who had helped him in the emergency. Other sources attribute this order to Duke Louis von Bourbon .
