Oreste Rossi
Oreste Rossi (born March 24, 1964 in Alessandria ) is an Italian politician of the Lega Nord .
Life
Rossi worked as a chemical engineer at PPG Industries from 1987 to 1990. From 1992 to 2000 he was a member of the Camera dei deputati , the lower house of the Italian parliament. From 2000 to 2009 he was a member of the Regional Council of Piedmont , where he served as parliamentary group leader of his party from 2005, and in 2005 he was President of the Regional Council. Rossi has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 , where he is a member of the Europe of Freedom and Democracy Group .
In addition to his political activities, he has been working as a journalist and publicist since 2000.
