Ornamin

The Ornamin process is a process for the production of pressed parts from the thermosetting plastic melamine . It was developed in 1953. In the process, a base body made of melamine resin is produced in the first pressing process . In the second step, films impregnated with melamine resin, often printed or colored, are placed around the pellet and pressed with it.
