Oro incenso & birra is the fourth studio album by the Italian singer Zucchero Fornaciari and was released on June 13, 1989 under Polydor .
With more than 1,840,000 units sold in Italy and more than 8 million records sold worldwide, it is Zucchero's most successful studio album and one of the best-selling albums in Italy. During the compilation and recording of the album, Zucchero worked with international greats such as Eric Clapton , Francesco de Gregori , Ennio Morricone , Clarence Clemons , Rufus Thomas , Jimmy Smith and James Taylor .
