Orodes I was a Parthian king from the Arsacid dynasty , who lived from around 80 BC. BC to 76 BC Ruled. Little is known from this period of Parthian history, so that the circumstances of his reign are hardly known. One has knowledge of him mainly from coins. He could be the son of Mithridates II . His sister and wife Ispubarza may be known from cuneiform texts .

Alternative chronologies set for his reign from 90 to 80 BC And suspect that a stranger followed him to the throne until Sinatrukes around 76 BC. BC ascended the throne and ended the time of turmoil.

In a report on the solar eclipse on April 11, 80 BC. He is mentioned as the reigning "King of Kings".
