The orthopedic shoe technology (own spelling aloud Cover: Orthopädieschuhtechnik ) is a monthly, national trade publication for orthopedic shoe technicians . It is the official organ of the Central Association of Health Crafts Orthopedic Shoe Technology (ZVOS), which also acts as publisher, and of the International Association of Orthopedic Shoe Technicians (IVO). The July / August issue appears as a double issue.
Topics and dissemination
The "magazine for prevention and rehabilitation", so the subtitle, deals with all products, materials, working methods and procedures for the medical and manual care of the foot and leg. In terms of content, new results of scientific research for medical care practice are treated as well as suggestions for a customer-oriented design of orthopedic operations or concepts for "successful positioning in the future". The topics in the first quarter of 2017 included a. Foot and gait changes in old age, movement analysis, compression supply as well as orthoses and bandages.
