Local constitution
A local constitution is to be introduced for the districts by rural communities in Thuringia in accordance with Section 45a of the Thuringian municipal code.
The introduction takes place through regulation in the main statute of the rural community. Several neighboring districts can jointly receive a local constitution. In districts with the village Constitution one must resort mayor and a Ortschaftsrat be selected. The local constitution can be repealed or changed at the earliest at the end of the legal term of office of the municipal council . The resolution requires a majority of the legal number of municipal council members.
