Gneixendorf local chapel
The Gneixendorf local chapel is on the through road in the village of Gneixendorf in the statutory town of Krems an der Donau in Lower Austria . The chapel dedicated to the festival of the Sacred Heart of Jesus belongs to the dean's office in Krems in the diocese of St. Pölten . The chapel is under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The chapel was built in 1908 in memory of the 60th jubilee of Emperor I. Franz Joseph built.
architecture
The neo-Gothic chapel building with a nave with coupled pointed arched windows has a strongly drawn-in choir with a five-eighth end and a two-storey facade tower with a gabled portal porch with crab and cruciform decoration.
The nave shows itself with a barrel vault. The triumphal arch is ogival.
Furnishing
The uniform facility from the construction period has been preserved.
Johann Gottlieb Jennichen calls a bell in 1829.
