The so-called Beethoven House - the former Trautingerhof - is a cubic building with a mansard hipped roof, which was built in the 18th century and probably has a core from the 16th century. The ground floor has a groin vault . The elaborate classical furnishings and furnishings were made around 1800 or in the early 19th century. These include paper wallpapers with romantic landscape paintings, classifying architectures and pseudo-architectural framing. The name of the building does not go back to the composer Ludwig van Beethoven , but to his brother Johann, who bought the former Trautingerhof together with the castle in 1820.

The castle , located in the north just outside Gneixendorf, is a three-storey rectangular building with a mansard hipped roof, which was built in the first half of the 17th century. Between two avenues to the east there is an extensive, former castle park. In the 16th century, the castle, together with the Trautingerhof, was owned by Berchtesgaden Abbey , was given as a gift to the Krems Jesuits in 1630 and was acquired in 1820 by Johann van Beethoven, the brother of the composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
