Local teacher

Local teacher (OLK) is the term used in Germany for teachers at German German schools abroad . In contrast to foreign service teachers (ADLK), these are taught directly by the schools abroad, i. H. their school associations discontinued. The local teachers then have a contract that corresponds to the standards of the host country and are also subject to the legislation (labor law and taxation) of the host country. Local teachers can have the nationality of the host country or another country, or they can be German. The quality of the teaching staff is guaranteed by the promotion and supervision of the Federal Republic of Germany , the Federal Administration Office is responsible .
