Oscar García Pérez
Oscar Manuel García Pérez (born December 23, 1966 in Havana , Cuba ) is a Cuban foil fencer and two-time world champion.

In 1983 Oscar García Pérez won bronze with the foil team at the World Championships in Vienna . In 1991 García won a gold medal with the Cuban foil team at the World Championships in Budapest . A year later at the Olympic Games in Barcelona , the Cuban team won silver with him. In 1994 García won a bronze medal in singles at the World Championships in Athens , and in 1995 he won his second gold medal with the team at the World Championships in The Hague . In 1996 he took part again in the Olympic Games in Atlanta and won the bronze medal with the team. In 1997 at the World Championships in Cape Town , the team won a silver medal. In 2000 he also took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney , this time the team finished seventh and García seventeenth in the individual. In 2001 García won a bronze medal with the foil team at the World Championships in Nîmes .
