Golden Disk Awards

The Golden Disk Awards ( Korean 골든 디스크 어워드 RR goldeun diseukeu eowodeu ) are the most important music award for the K-pop entertainment industry in South Korea. According to the United Press International news agency , the awards are known as "Korean Grammys ".

Award

The awards are presented annually in January. The most successful musicians of the past year will be honored, the most coveted prize is that for the “Disk Daesang” (Grand Prize). All award winners are chosen by members of the K-pop entertainment industry.
