Today OshKosh B'Gosh is one of the largest and best-known manufacturers of children's clothing in the USA.
The success story began around 1900 when the dungarees for children were "invented".
The little ones could now dress like their fathers. The pants were sturdy and easy to put on and take off. The product became a huge success, and it only got bigger when the local mail order company Miles Kimball added the dungarees to its catalog. Since then, the pants have been constantly selling out until OshKosh B'Gosh expanded and the dungarees eventually sold across the country.
The trend of dungarees for children gained international fame and continues today.
