The Osttiroler Viergesang was an Austrian male vocal quartet.

Founded in 1974 by Josef Oberwalder, the Osttiroler Viergesang was initially dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional and new sacred folk songs . The quartet later dealt with ballads , joke songs and evergreens. The interpretations of Franz Schubert 's men's quartets found international recognition . Numerous concert tours, television appearances and radio recordings took the Osttiroler Viergesang through Austria, Germany, Poland, Italy and Israel. In its 24-year existence, the quartet has produced 11 records, including two with works by Franz Schubert.
