Oswaldo Osorio Canales

Oswaldo Osorio Canales (* 1938 or 1939; † October 8, 2010 in El Morro de Lechería ) was a Venezuelan politician , lawyer and real estate entrepreneur .

He completed his law studies at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas with "summa cum laude". He then worked as a teacher of Venezuelan history at the Liceo Santiago de León . Osorio, a member of the Movimiento Nacional Independiente , supported the candidacy of Miguel Ángel Burelli Rivas ' and was later himself a member of the Congreso de la República for the Frente Democrático Popular (FDP).

He was also the founder of the Negro Primero organization and wrote the column "A Pleno Sol y Sin Bozal" for almost 50 years.
