Othello is a hot drink made from chocolate and espresso . An othello is usually served in a thick, brown vessel.

The drink consists of two layers that should not run into each other and therefore have to be poured in a defined order. The bottom layer is the warm chocolate. Then the top layer of espresso is placed. Often the drink is garnished with chocolate flakes, cocoa powder or spices (for example cinnamon ).

The drink is often drunk with a straw and with biscuits.
