Otto Peltzer Medal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Otto Peltzer Medal was a planned internal association award of the German Athletics Association (DLV), which was donated in 1999. It should only be awarded on a given occasion to personalities who have distinguished themselves through special achievements, responsible behavior and critical solidarity in athletics . It is named after the athlete Otto Peltzer . The medal was never awarded because the DLV later decided not to name any honorary prizes after people and not to award the Otto Peltzer Medal.
