In the second half of the 17th century, a mill with a single grinder was built in its place. In 1766 it was owned by the Speckner family. In 1910 this mill was owned by Franz Friedrich. His widow Maria married the master miller Georg Stock in 1922, who owned it until the middle of the 20th century. The Ligenzer mill has not been used for grinding since around 1954, although the mill was only rebuilt after the currency reform .
