Hämmerlmühle is a district of the Upper Palatinate town of Auerbach in the Upper Palatinate in the Amberg-Sulzbach district in Bavaria .

The place Hämmerlmühle is about 4.4 km northwest of Auerbach on the state road St 2403 . The place is traversed by the Flembachs leading to the Pegnitz .
history
Here too, as in the surrounding towns of L Intelligence , Steinamwasser or Staubershammer, an iron hammer has been attested since the Middle Ages . The owner was the Michelfeld Monastery as early as the 13th century and with interruptions .
In 1904 the Looshorn family acquired the property and operated a mill here until 1958, parts of which were given to the East Bavarian Mining and Industry Museum in Theuern . Today the Hämmerlmühle is used for tourism.
