Troschenreuth is a district of the city of Pegnitz in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth in Bavaria .
The place is northeast of Pegnitz. The Zipser Mühlbach rises north of the village .
The B 2 , which is identical to the B 85 here , runs to the west. The A 9 runs even further west . The Franconian Marienweg runs through the village .
