Otto Bachmann (politician)

Otto Bachmann (born June 10, 1901 in Aachen ; † April 18, 1977 there ) was a German politician ( KPD ).

Member of the VKPD and KPD since 1920. 1930 City Councilor of the KPD in Aachen.

Active in the resistance in the Aachen area since 1933. The former KPD functionary of the Aachen city administration, Otto Bachmann, was arrested on February 2, 1934 while crossing the border for the purpose of establishing contact.

From October 2, 1946 to December 19, 1946, he was a member of the first appointed North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament .
