Otto Hofbauer

Otto Hofbauer (born January 4, 1932 ) is a former Austrian football player .

He came to FK Austria Wien from Vienna AC in 1954 . In the season 1954/55 he played 40 games for Austria, in the season 1955/56 a total of 18 games.

On May 1, 1955, he was appointed to his first international match against the Swiss national team in Bern in the Wankdorf Stadium. He also scored his only international goal in the 27th minute. The international match ended 3-2 for Austria. Otto Hofbauer played the second and last international match on May 19, 1955 in the Vienna Prater Stadium against Italy (final score 1: 4).
