Overledger
Overledger ( OL ) is a block chain - operating system of the British company Quant Network. It has been developed since 2015 under the leadership of Gilbert Verdian.

Overledger sits above existing networks, ledger protocols and blockchains and forms a seamless connection between them. This allows the user, for example, to develop multi-chain apps (mApps) that use and enable communication between different blockchains and thus also the storage, verification and processing of data via the respective networks or chains. No further blockchain is interposed, but direct interaction is enabled without additional consensus.
This full interoperability enables developers to assign their data and functions to the most suitable blockchain in each case without the risk of having to be tied to one technology. An example: A mApp can execute smart contracts via Ethereum while at the same time using Ripple as a payment settler and securing their EOD deal on the Bitcoin chain at the end of the day . Overledger is compatible with IFTTT .
In March 2020 the "Overledger Network Community Treasury Design Release" was published. Here, payment flows with QNT between different partners are described.
Partners who work with Overledger are u. a. SIA with its more than 500 banks, the payment provider Pay.Uk, SIMBAchain or the Wall Street Exchange AX Trading. Quant Overledger is advised by Neil Smit .
