Pål H. Christiansen

Pål Herman Christiansen (born September 9, 1958 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian writer.

Life

Christiansen grew up with Blinders / Vinderen in Oslo. After attending elementary school in Vinderen and a comprehensive school in Ungdomsskole, he switched to the commercial high school in 1974, which he left in 1977. He broke off a law degree that he had started afterwards and turned to writing after attending a writing course. In 1989 he made his debut with his first novel Harry var ikke ved sine fulle fem . In 2007 his novel Drømmer om storhet (The order of words) was published in German. In addition to his literary work, he wrote as a freelancer for a trade journal. In 2001 Christiansen was awarded the Tiden Prize for his work "Humle & Honning". Christiansen is the owner of the children's book publisher Forlaget Fabula.

Christiansen lives in Bærum ( Norway ), is married and has four children.
