Pürschgerichtkarte
The Rottweiler Pürschgerichtkarte is a map that shows the free imperial city of Rottweil and the surrounding area. The circular map has a diameter of around two meters and was created by David Rötlin for the Rottweiler administration in 1564 . The chapel church is shown in the center of the map , the area shown extends from Villingen to Oberndorf and from the Black Forest to the Swabian Alb . The scale is largest in the middle and decreases towards the edge.
The Pürschgerichtkarte is on display in the Rottweiler City Museum. In the city museum there is a model of Rottweil from the 16th century, which was created from the map.
