The 1974/75 season was the 30th regular season of the International Hockey League . During the regular season, the eleven teams should play 76 games each, but the schedule had to be revised due to the early financial departure of the Lansing Lancers . In the play-offs, the Toledo Goaldiggers prevailed and won the first Turner Cup in their club's history.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Lansing Lancers were included as an expansion team in the league and continued to play during the current season.
- The Kalamazoo Wings were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Toledo Hornets were sold and changed their name to Toledo Goaldiggers .
- The Port Huron Wings reverted to their original name, Port Huron Flags.
