The 1993/94 season was the 49th regular season of the International Hockey League . During the regular season, the 13 regular IHL teams played 81 games each, while the Russian visiting team Russian Penguins played against every other team once. In the play-offs, the Atlanta Knights prevailed and won the first Turner Cup in their club's history.

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

  • The Las Vegas Thunder were added to the league as an expansion team.
  • The Russian Penguins , a team consisting only of Russian ice hockey players, took part in the IHL once as a visiting team and played a total of 13 season games.
