The PGA of Germany ( Professional Golfers Association of Germany) is the German association for professional golfers . It currently has a little over 1,900 members in nine national sections.

history

The association was founded in 1927 under the name "Deutscher Golflehrer-Verband eV" and is based in Munich. In 1995 it was renamed "PGA of Germany".

The main tasks include looking after members, promoting members and golf, organizing tournaments and courses, as well as promoting young talent. The PGA of Germany is also a shareholder in the Pro Golf Tour .
