The PIKES EHC Oberthurgau 1965 is an ice hockey club from the city of Romanshorn in Switzerland .

history

In 1965 the club was founded as EHC Uttwil , and the club played its home games mainly in KEB Uzwil. In 2003 they moved to their new home, the Oberthurgau ice sports center . The club was then renamed PIKES EHC Oberthurgau in 1965. The first team has been playing in the first division since 2008 . The PIKES EHC Oberthurgau operates a strong youth work in the Oberthurgau region.

Venue

The club's home games are played in the Oberthurgau EZO ice sports center , which today (2014) can accommodate up to 1,000 spectators. There are 280 seats and 720 standing places.
