The PIN Intelligent Services AG was founded in April 1999 in Berlin. The first letter was delivered on August 17, 1999. Own postage stamps have been issued since 2000 . The expansion in the 2000s was followed by difficulties and the break-up of the PIN Group in 2008.
Today's activities
With 18 depots , PIN covers all of Berlin. In Berlin, delivery to post office boxes is also possible. The stamps have a traffic light figure.
The Georg von Holtzbrinck and Postcon (formerly TNT Post ) publishing group are involved in PIN Mail . At the beginning of December 2016, Postcon applied to the Federal Cartel Office to take over the majority of PIN Mail AG.
