The PPE Usage Regulation (PSA-BV) is a German regulation for the implementation of the EEC guideline 89/656 / EEC in occupational safety.

The ordinance regulates the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employers and their use by employees ( Section 1 ).

Section 2 describes the basic requirements that the employer has to observe during procurement, maintenance and storage.

Section 3 contains instructions for instructing employees on the use of PPE.

In accordance with Section 3 (3) ArbSchG , the employer must generally bear the costs incurred.
