PX-Pain is a metal band from Switzerland that was founded in 1994 under the name Prescription Pain, but was renamed in 1998. The band was founded in 1994 by Oli Ender and Christian Aeberli. With rapidly increasing success, PX-Pain played concerts a. a. with Rammstein, Slayer, Slipknot, Soulfly, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Biohazard, Sick of it all, Pro Pain and many more. In 2002 the band performed at the Openair Frauenfeld .

Career

After the first concerts in Switzerland, the band recorded their first demo CD Scene of Crime in 1994 . A record deal with High Gain (Warner Bro. Germany) was signed with the 2nd demo EP Plant of Life .

In the spring of 1998, Marrow was released worldwide and got a very good response. Due to problems with distribution, the album was never released in Germany. Pro-Pain's Gary Meskil played the song Mosh It Up .

Denying the Consequences was released in 2005 on the Leech Records label.

After 11 years and with over 150 shows, 2 European tours and a Germany tour, PX-Pain said goodbye to the stage in December 2005 with a gigantic and completely sold out concert. At that time PX-Pain was considered THE flagship for Swiss Metal.
