Pařidla (German Paredl , also Paridl, Parzidla, Pareydl ) was a village about two kilometers north of the city of Brüx (today Most ) in the Czech Republic . Due to the advancing coal mining, the village was liquidated from 1967 to 1969.

history

In 1341 Paridl was first mentioned in documents from Johann von Luxemburg . In this contract the affiliation to the Ossegg monastery is confirmed. The further history of the village is not known, but it was probably given as a fief, because in 1615 a certain Dorota Husanová is listed as the owner. In the middle of the 17th century, the village belonged to the Zahražany monastery as an independent farm. In 1659 the farm became independent. In 1667 Martin Meiner bequeathed it to the Church of St. Anna in Brüx. In 1785 Paridl came into the church fund and finally became independent after the land reform in 1848.

In the middle of the 17th century there were only two houses with twelve inhabitants. 188 people lived in the village in 1846, the number of which rose to 488 by 1921. Paredl was a district of Kopitz .

The 17th century castle and fortress were also demolished.
