PADUA is an acronym for P roblemdarstellung, A TRUCTURE, D urcharbeiten, U planar, A nSee. This describes a didactic concept of how a teaching unit with different learning phases is structured. The problem-solving structure introduces the topic and arouses motivation to learn through controversial content. When working through the learning content is consolidated and concretized, while storage in long-term memory is the goal when practicing and repeating . Ultimately, the learning content should be able to be used.

The concept was developed by Hans Aebli and is one of the foundations of teacher training.
