Xingshengjiao Temple Pagoda
The pagoda of the Xingshengjiao Temple ( Chinese 兴 圣教 寺塔 , Pinyin Xīngshèngjiào sì tǎ ) is a tower-style brick pagoda from the time of the Northern Song Dynasty in the Songjiang district of Shanghai , People's Republic of China . It has nine floors and is 42.5 m high. Because it is square, it is also called the "Square Pagoda" ( 方 塔 , fāngtǎ ).
It has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-83) since 1996 .
