The Pakistani National Library (National Library of Pakistan) is located in Islamabad , capital of Pakistan .

The National Library of Pakistan was opened on August 24, 1993 by Moin Ahmad Qureshi. The library currently has about 130,000 books, 555 manuscripts , 45 microfilms , 845 magazines, and about 135 journals.

The building has a floor area of ​​approximately 150 × 34 meters, the total area of ​​the library is approximately 15,600 m² on four floors. The available space in the library can hold up to a million books and has 500 workstations for readers.
