Palacio Braceras

The Palacio Braceras, also known as Palacio Brasil , is a building in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .

The building was erected as a result of the building permit from 1918 and is located in Barrio Centro on Avenida 18 de Julio 984-994 between Julio Herrera y Obes and Wilson Ferreira Aldunate streets . The architect Camilo Gardelle was responsible for the construction . While a theater and residential apartments were previously housed here, the building now houses a bank, offices and a cultural association. The building is assigned to historical eclecticism .

The Palacio Braceras has been classified as a Bien de Interés Municipal since 1995 .
