The Palazzo Courtial is located in the Roman district of Gianicolo , immediately south of the Piazza San Pietro . It is in the extraterritorial possession of the Holy See .

In addition to the Apostolic Council for Religious art and music and the Philippine Embassy to the Holy See , the former home to Augustinians - monastery also the only Vatican hotel, the Residenza Paolo VI.
