Pantjar

The Pantjar or Padei was a field and area measure in Java . It was used to measure rice fields.

  • Batavia : 1 Pantjar = 2000 square rods (deviating: 283.8 hectares )
  • East Java 1 Pantjar = 4 Bouw / Bahoe = 283.8596 hectares
