Paolo Chiesa
Paolo Chiesa (* 1956 in Milan ) is an Italian Middle Latin philologist.
Life
He received his doctorate in Latin Philology of the Middle Ages from the University of Florence . From 1992 to 2006 he taught at the University of Udine. Since 2006 he has held the Chair of Medieval Latin Literature, Medieval Latin Philology and Humanistic Philology at the University of Milan .
His focus is on textual criticism and editorial methods applied to Latin medieval texts and traditions in both theoretical and practical terms.
