Paolo D'Angelo
Paolo D'Angelo (* 1956 ) is an Italian philosopher.
Life
As a graduate of La Sapienza University , he received his PhD from the University of Bologna . He taught at the University of Messina (1992-2000). He has given lectures at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne , Mainz , Universidad de los Andes (Venezuela) , Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Humboldt University in Berlin . Since September 2000 he has been a professor of aesthetics at the University of Rome III .
His work focuses on the aesthetics of the visual arts, environmental aesthetics, analytical aesthetics, history of aesthetics, German philosophy and contemporary Italian philosophy.
