The Papan Reservoir ( kirghiz Папан суу сактагычы ) is located on the river of Ak-Buura in Osh Region in Kyrgyzstan .
The dam is located 20 km south-southeast of the city of Osh . It was completed in 1981. Their storage volume is 260 million m³. The water surface of the reservoir reaches up to 7.1 km². The fall height is 120 m. The Papan dam serves as a water reservoir for the irrigation of the downstream agricultural areas as well as the drinking water supply of Osh.
