Paper gold

Paper gold is a colloquial term for forms of investment without physical gold that are related to gold. For example, the investor does not acquire the rights to a specific gold bar, but only a right to a specific amount of gold.

Typical forms of investment include gold derivatives ( futures , options ), certificates and gold accounts .
