The Saarland state government under Prime Minister Werner Zeyer ( CDU ) from July 5, 1979 to May 23, 1980 is called Cabinet Zeyer I.
After the unexpected death of Prime Minister Franz-Josef Röder in June 1979, Zeyer was elected as his successor by the Saarland state parliament in its seventh legislative period . He continued the coalition with the FDP / DPS . His cabinet included:
