The Saarland state government under Prime Minister Werner Zeyer ( CDU ) from May 23, 1980 to July 10, 1984 is called Cabinet Zeyer II .

After the state elections on April 27, 1980, a coalition of CDU and FDP / DPS was formed again . Werner Zeyer was re-elected by the Saarland Landtag in its eighth legislative period . His cabinet included:
