Cabinet Ney
The Saarland state government under Prime Minister Hubert Ney ( CDU ) from January 10, 1956 to June 4, 1957 is called the Ney cabinet .
From the state elections of December 18, 1955 - the first elections after the rejection of the Saar Statute - the CDU emerged as the strongest party. Together with the SPD and DPS, it formed the home federal government , which replaced the transitional government of Heinrich Welsch , who was independent from any party . The DPS left the cabinet on December 17, 1956 and went into the opposition. Since then, the CDU and SPD have formed a minority government alone .
The Saarland Landtag elected Hubert Ney as Prime Minister in its third legislative period . His cabinet included:
