Ferdi Behles
Ferdi Behles (born January 10, 1929 in Weiskirchen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
Profession and Politics
After graduating from secondary school in Sulzbach , he trained as an administrative officer from 1951 to 1954. He worked as a senior administration councilor for the miners' union . From 1964 to 1974 he was a member of the Dudweiler city council, from 1964 to 1968 chairman of the CDU parliamentary group, from 1968 to 1974 first alderman of the city. From 1981 to 1986 managing director of Saarland-Sport GmbH and Saarland-Spielbanken GmbH.
Ferdi Behles was a member of the Saarland Landtag from 1970 to 1981. From 1974 to 1977 and May 1980 to September 1981 he chaired the CDU parliamentary group. From March 1977 to May 1980 he was Minister of Finance in the Röder VI and Zeyer I cabinets .
Behles is Roman Catholic, married and has one daughter.

Ferdi Behles has been awarded the Great Federal Cross of Merit .
