The former paper mill at Paderborner Strasse 165 in Detmold- Berlebeck was entered on March 23, 1984 under the number 042 in the list of architectural monuments in Detmold .
The paper mill can be traced back to 1607. During the Thirty Years' War it was repeatedly damaged and looted.
The building ensemble includes a two-storey half-timbered eaves house with a two-storey plastered quarry stone building, a two-storey quarry stone building and the weir on the back of the main building.
